 Your Weekly League Update

Ramping up to the November Election

Voter service volunteers are very busy printing, folding, and distributing both English and Spanish language versions of the 2021 Denver Ballot Issues pamphlet from LWV Denver.  A great deal of effort goes into finding locations which will distribute the booklets, and then getting copies to those outlets.  Please contact Jeanette ScotlandAnne Duncan or Marge Fisch to arrange to pick up a supply of pamphlets if you have locations that have asked for them.

Denver Voter Service kudos to Joan Friend, always willing to help, who has been this week's star volunteer for Voter Service.  She ran off all the Denver Spanish ballot issues, folded at least half of them (750) and completed running off/printing/copying the remaining Denver English ballot issues. Plus, she then helped to tabulate how many went to various locations and then took them to the places asking for them.  We simply could not have gotten out so many to so many places without her help.

Bulbs Arriving Friday!

Thanks to all who have volunteered to help sort, package and deliver bulbs.  If you have orders to deliver, please be prepared to pick them up next week at the City Park Greenhouse at 2538-2632 E 23rd Ave, Denver, CO 80205.

The amaryllis will be later, arriving in Denver the last week in October. Those who ordered amaryllis will get them a little later than your other bulbs.
