Join the LWV Denver Observer Corps

Wednesday 8/24/2022
9:00 - 11:00 AM

Would you like to see your government in action?   The LWV Denver's mission includes being knowledgeable about the public meetings held in Denver and the issues being discussed.  LWV Denver is developing the Observer Corps to keep us better informed.  If you would like to see more information about Observer Corps, see Observing Your Government in Action by LWVUS.
The Observer Corps will be observing meetings this year of important city groups including:
  • City Council,
  • City Council Committees
  • Denver School Board
These meetings are now available on Zoom and so being an Observer is much easier than it has been in the past.  It is very interesting to learn about the scope of topics and issues important to the operation of the City of Denver and Denver Public Schools.  If you think you might like to serve as an Observer, please plan to attend the meeting on August 24 at 9:00 AM. If you have questions, please contact Barbara Ford.
