| Colorado Civic Engagement Roundtable Needs Volunteers for Election Phone Bank
Voter Service invites people interested in a coordinated effort to do Get Out The Vote this election cycle. Colorado Civic Engagement Roundtable (CCER) is a coalition of non-partisan organizations engaged in civic work in Colorado. Our state League is a member. The group is also focusing on the City of Denver election.
We urge League members to join a virtual phone banking event on Thursday, March 30 from 2-4pm to call voters who vote in general elections but not in municipal elections, a list of 70,000 people. Callers will get a Zoom link and a script to use. There will have a breakout room for volunteers to get tech assistance/troubleshooting if needed. CCER suggests folks use a free Google voice number, but it is not required.
Voter Service hopes that volunteers will take action to reach people to encourage them to vote. Please contact Maria Madrid maria@coroundtable.org directly for the Zoom link and script. Let's show the City of Denver that League cares!
