Make your Voice Heard: Take Action Today!

Right now, our Senate lawmakers are considering HB23-1078, which would establish a dependent allowance for workers with children or dependent adult children. A dependent allowance (DA) is an additional amount of money added to an eligible UI beneficiary’s weekly benefit amount to help them meet basic needs as they continue to search for work. HB23-1078 will provide $35 per week, per dependent, for parents and other caregivers on top of their weekly UI benefit.

Tell your legislators to prioritize our working families and vote yes on HB23-1078!

LWV Denver 2023 Flower Bulb Sale

LWV Denver Bulb Sale - Daffodils are Blooming in Denver

The 2023 BUlb Sale starts soon!  Look for details in next week's Voter Newsletter.  Our bulbs are shipped direct from Holland each fall and our customers can testify to the quality of the bulbs and their heartiness in Colorado. For a preview see Flower Bulb Sale.

We want every member to do what you can to make the sale a success. We will sell primarily in May and June, but we will get more information to you in April. Please make a commitment now by thinking of at least 10 people who could have a more beautiful yard. For those without a yard in which to plant, we have lovely paperwhites and amaryllis that will bloom indoors.
