 Representatives from LWV Denver plan to meet for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Marade. The event officially begins at 9:30 a.m. Since the weather is forecast to be bitter cold, we're planning to arrive a bit later at the MLK monument to listen to the speakers. For those interested, we can then march downtown, leaving the park at approximately 10:45 a.m. If you'd like to join us for all or part of the event, we'll be meeting at:

(look for a large yellow sculpture)
9:45 - 10:00 a.m.

Every current member of the League of Women Voters will receive an email from LWVUS (membership@lwv.org) the week of February 3 asking you to log in to the Membership Portal for the first time and update your information in the National database. You are not being asked to renew or pay dues, only to log in and complete your member information. Please let Kayla in the office know if you have any questions.
 A follow-up to last week's update on "sustaining" members: Sustaining members donate above and beyond the dues amount. In the new system, this additional amount should be put on the donation page when renewing (see example screenshot). It can be any amount and is so appreciated and needed to support our Denver League's work.
