League of Women Voters of Colorado is an organizational member of the Colorado Social Legislation Committee (www.cslc.org). They will host a virtual program in response to the Special Session of the 72nd General Assembly called by Governor Polis that begins on November 30. Polis asked the legislators to focus on seven forms of COVID relief: small business relief, child care support, housing/direct renter assistance, increasing broadband access, food insecurity, utilities assistance and public health response. Panelists include:

Mellisa Mares of the Colorado Children's Campaign -child care support
Colorado Broadband Office ( invited) - increasing broadband access
Andrew Bennett of Energy Outreach - utilities assistance
